Personal Assistant to Heads of School

Permanent, full-time hours during school terms plus holiday hours (41 weeks a year)

This role supports the Heads of School and Assistant Heads of School in the daily operations.  The role is integral in ensuring that school events,  trips are organised in an efficient and effective manner.
With a proven record working in a related environment, you will:
  • Provide diary management and administration services to the Heads and Assistant Heads of School
  • Ensure events are coordinated effectively
  • Prepare parent communications
  • Working collaboratively with the Student Services team
  • Coordination of key trips including interstate and overseas that are overseen by Heads of School

This role offers you the opportunity to utilise your positive and organised nature within our Secondary Executive team and the wider school community. The successful applicant must be approachable, have excellent customer service and organisational skills with a strong work ethic and a passion to contribute to the continued success of St John’s Grammar School.

This permanent role will see the successful candidate enjoy a collaborative work environment, having the opportunity to work with our wider school community. Working 37.5 hours, 41 weeks a year (school terms plus Holiday hours).

School Administration Officer (Student Services)

Permanent, part-time during school terms and Week 0

The School Administration Officer (Student Services) is an administration role within a small Student Services team supporting a range of internal stakeholders and has a vital customer centric focus.

Responsibilities of the School Administration Officer (Student Services) role includes:

  • Support the VET Coordinator / Careers Counsellor with administration support for events including the Careers Expo and Work Experience
  • Support the Head of Extra Curricular and Assistant Heads of School with Camp administration
  • General administration to key Departments as well as playing a key role within the student services team including first aid for students, phone calls and liaising with parents

This permanent role will see the successful candidate enjoy a collaborative work environment, having the opportunity to work with our wider school community. Working across 5 days a week 9:00am-3:00pm, 40 weeks a year (school terms plus week 0).

Co-Educator – ELC

Casual Relief Pool

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring ELC Co-Educators to join our casual relief pool. You’ll work alongside our lead educators to create a fun and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5 years. While the hours may vary, there are immediate opportunities for those ready to jump in and make a difference, with the potential for regular hours in the future. Please note that our ELC is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and we will be looking to fill shifts across the span of these hours, including in school holidays. We are ideally looking for a minimum of Diploma (or Diploma-equivalent) qualified staff.

2 x Teachers – Mathematics and Science (Biology)

Temporary Part-Time for Term 3, 2025

St John’s Grammar is seeking two experienced teachers for Long Service Leave cover contract roles for Term 3, 2025. Both roles will teach classes in both middle and senior schools with the Mathematics role teaching up to Stage 1 Mathematics Essential, and the Science role teaching up to Stage 1 Biology, with experience in teaching up to these levels being highly regarded.

We are looking for experienced teachers who who bring energy and creativity to the classroom and create an engaging and inclusive environment to help students build confidence, think critically, and develop strong communication skills, all while fostering a genuine love for learning.
