Our students, staff, and families across our campuses have been reaching deep as we approach the Festive Season, with one such example being the Junior School Toy Drive.

Games, soft toys, puzzles, sporting goods, books, and more (along with some considerable financial gifts) were donated by our community, and – via Baptist Care SA‘s Westcare Centre – will help spread joy to young children who may otherwise miss out at Christmas.

Even more important than receiving a toy though, is the knowledge that people DO care for them and their families, even in times of hardship.

We hear from Westcare that the families who receive this kindness from the wider community are often overcome with gratitude for the support they receive, and we are humbled that we have the opportunity to join with others to make such a difference.

If you have the capacity to give further, or would like to support the work Westcare does, have a look at the links and posts on the Baptist Care SA Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/baptistcaresouthaustralia
