Head of Music – 1.0FTE

Position Description – Head of Music

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our school as Head of Music.

The Head of Music is responsible for leading and developing Music education across the Middle and Senior Schools, fostering excellence in teaching, learning, performance, and student engagement. Working closely with the Performing Arts team, this role provides strategic leadership of the curriculum, co-curricular music activities, staff, tutors, and ensemble programs, while inspiring students to achieve their personal best.

This position combines leadership responsibilities with a teaching load and offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the culture and life of the School. The teaching load will form part of the Secondary Campus program.

Relief Teachers

We are seeking additional Relief Teachers to join us at both our Secondary and Junior Campuses and are looking for registered Teachers who are interested in building their relationship with St John’s Grammar School to join our team.
