School Bus
St John’s School Bus Information
School Bus services are offered to students, servicing the surrounding suburbs, Adelaide Hills and inner southern and Coastal suburbs, and provide a ‘shuttle service’ between the Secondary and Junior School Campuses before and after School.
We currently offer 5 individual routes; 2 door-to-door services in the Adelaide Hills, 2 set routes servicing down to the coast and 1 set route servicing the southern suburbs, as pictured below. We endeavour to provide the most convenient service to families, so please contact us to discuss a suitable stop along any of our bus routes.

Southern Run Bus Route
The Southern Run Bus is a set route service and travels through the following suburbs:
- Blackwood
- Craigburn Farm
- Coromandel Valley
- Aberfoyle Park
- Flagstaff Hill
Adelaide Hills Bus Routes
Our two Adelaide Hills buses offer a ‘door-to-door’ service and, as such, the routes are tailored to the students using the service each day. Currently, our two buses travel through the following areas:

- Uraidla

- Bridgewater
- Stirling
- Aldgate
- Stirling
- Mount Barker
- Echunga
- Mylor
- Longwood
- Ironbank

There are two Coastal Run buses that follow a set route and travel through the following suburbs:

How to Order
We now utilise online booking and payment software called RollCall, which also allows parents to track their children’s bus via GPS, and be notified when they get on and off. All buses are also fitted with closed-loop CCTV cameras, to provide families with extra peace of mind.
A rechargeable RollCall ticket fob can be ordered from the School upon payment of a $20 refundable deposit. The fob acts as the ticket for each bus trip. We endeavour to provide the most convenient service to families, so please contact us to discuss a suitable stop along any of our bus routes.
