The debating season will run from Term 2, Week 2 (May) until Term 3, Week 9 (October), if teams make the state finals. Please take note of the following dates, as students who nominate will be expected to be available for all practices and debates.

Key dates are outlined below and in the 2025 SADA Schools Competition key dates.

Junior A Debating (Year 7)

Weekly lunch time training
Tuesday evening debates, every 3 weeks (from 6 May – 19 October)

Intermediate B Debating (Year 8 and 9)

Weekly lunch time training
Tuesday evening debates, every 3 weeks (from 6 May – 19 October)

Intermediate B Debating (Year 9 and 10)

Weekly lunch time training
Thursday evening debates, every 3 weeks (from 8 May – 19 October)

Senior Debating (Year 11 and 12)

Weekly lunch time training
Wednesday evening debates, every 3 weeks (from 7 May – 19 October)
