Students in Years 7-12 were recently given the opportunity to register their interest in attending SASI testing here at school. Unfortunately, we did not have enough interest for a school visit, but instead SASI are offering sessions in the holidays.

The South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) is aiming to discover potential world class athletes who could compete at the Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games through the 2032 Talent Search program.

The next round of Talent Search testing is set to take place in the October school holidays at the Netball SA Stadium (Mile End).

This year testing has been expanded to include:

Ages 8-12 testing for diving

Ages 13-17 testing for cycling, rowing, kayaking, beach volleyball, shooting, and archery

Ages 18-19 testing for rowing

Athletes’ physical, anthropometrical and physiological capabilities are assessed, in order to identify whether they have the potential to become Australia’s next sporting champion.
If you think you have what it takes to achieve sporting success on the world stage, we encourage you to attend one of the upcoming testing days.

Where: Netball SA Stadium, Mile End
When: Tuesday 1 October and Wednesday 9 October
