Boarding

In addition to a successful Homestay Program, St John’s Grammar now offers Boarding for International Students.

New Boarding Facilities

In conjunction with our successful homestay program, St John’s Grammar now offers boarding facilities on campus.

Located within our International Living and Learning Precinct, our three boarding houses comprise 15 individual bedrooms and a shared sibling room with communal living and dining spaces in each House.

Modern Australian Living

Modelled around contemporary Australian apartment living, the boarding houses have been designed to ensure privacy with single rooms while also ensuring there are spaces for students to come together to study, eat and enjoy the Australian lifestyle.

Set amongst a natural bushland setting, the boarding precinct is nestled among suburban Belair with tall gumtrees and a range of beautiful wildlife just outside the window.

A secure and green space joins all three boarding houses to ensure students can enjoy their own backyard too.

Supporting International Students

Located within our International Living and Learning Precinct, students have easy access to support that will ensure their success during their stay with us.

As well as an International Student Coordinator located next door, International Students are supported by live-in Boarding Assistants who are on hand to help with any question, concern or just to chat with.

Additionally, students have access to a weekly food service by our own chef, as well as the ability to cook and prepare foods in the kitchen of their house.

Helping students adjust to Australian life is a priority for us in ensuring their success and happiness while at St John’s. Our school-wide Wellbeing Program extends to International Students and is a pivotal part in supporting students in their transition to Australian life and schooling.
