On Wednesday 29 November we will be hosting a second school community Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) meeting. We would like to extend a invitation to all of our community to attend and be part of the planning process.

A RAP is a formal commitment to reconciliation. It documents how our school will strengthen relationships, respect and create opportunities in the classroom, around the school and with the community to take meaningful action to advance reconciliation.

As a school community, it is important that we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we learn, work, and play, and seek to build respectful and collaborative relationships.

We are seeking input from our school community, including students, teachers, parents, and community members to help us with this process.

If you would like to know more about how you can be involved with the development and ongoing implementation of our action plan, please join us on Wednesday 29 November 6:30pm7:30pm at the Secondary Campus in The John Bray Centre for Performing Arts.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Sharron Hughes: shughes@stjohns.sa.edu.au

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Catherine Emmerson: cemmerson@stjohns.sa.edu.au
