We are excited to extend a warm invitation to members of our school community to be involved in the update of our school’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). A RAP is a formal commitment to reconciliation. It documents how our school will strengthen relationships, respect and create opportunities in the classroom, around the school and with the community to take meaningful action to advance reconciliation.
As a school community, it is important that we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we learn, work, and play, and seek to build respectful and collaborative relationships.
We are seeking input from our school community, including students, staff, parents, and community members to help us with this process.
If you would like to know more about how you can be involved with the development and ongoing implementation of our action plan, please join us for a St John’s Grammar Community Meeting on Tuesday 6 June from 6 – 7pm in the John Bray Centre for Performing Arts on the Secondary Campus.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Catherine Emmerson, Deputy Principal: cemmerson@stjohns.sa.edu.au
