Dear 2025 Reception to Year 3 Families,
We are excited to share that St John’s Grammar School will be offering a Chinese Beginners course for young learners in 2025, run by the School of Languages. This course is designed to teach students Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing at the elementary level, following the Australian curriculum. The teacher will engage students through fun and interactive methods, including games, songs, crafts, and more!
The course will run on Thursdays from 3:40-5:10 PM in the Year 4 classrooms at the Junior Campus, starting in Week 2, Term 1.
With strong support from the leadership teams at both St John’s Grammar and the School of Languages, our students have the unique opportunity to study Chinese from R-12, right here on our own campus. The cost is heavily subsidised, at only $150 per year.
