Dear Parents,
As the popularity of Basketball at St John’s Grammar continues to grow, our 2024 Basketball captain, Max Pudney, along with our Senior School Head of Basketball, Jaime Kennedy (NBL1 player), are offering two days of basketball clinics for Junior School students in the upcoming school holidays.
The clinics will be held in the Senior School Sports Centre and will provide students with further opportunities to develop their skill work and gameplay. With multiple coaches available to assist, these clinics are open to players of all abilities and experience levels.
The clinics will be held at the below dates and times and are free of charge:
TUESDAY 2/7
9:30-11:30 – Year 2/3 students
12:30-2:30 – Year 4/5 students
2:30-4:30 – Year 6 students
THURSDAY 4/7
9:30-11:30 – Year 2/3 students
12:30-2:30 – Year 4/5 students
2:30-4:30 – Year 6 students
Attendance at both days is encouraged so that students have the best possible experience, however, if they are only able to attend one day, that is perfectly fine also. As staff will be in attendance, parent supervision is not necessary at these clinics.
In order to assist Max and Jaime with planning these sessions, it would be greatly appreciated if parents could confirm their child’s attendance (including days they will be attending) with me via email prior to Wednesday 26/6.
