Tour De Soar

Sunday 14 March 2021

Its on again! The annual Tour de Soar event will this year be staged in the Belair National Park, a 20km Mountain Bike loop, on Sunday 14 March at 7.30am. Our younger riders have an option to ride a shorter 9 km loop designed with fun at the top of the agenda. Race Briefing and registration commences at 7.30am, with riders departing at 8am.

This is a fundraising event for the mighty Pedal Prix Team which enters this season with record numbers but also with a solid list of things that need to be done in preparation for that signature event at Murray Bridge, the 24 hour challenge.

The Tour De Soar event will start and finish at the Junior School campus, a bacon and egg roll awaits all finishers and a coffee van will be on site. We encourage all our State title winning Mountain Bikers to join for this ride (and wear your Mountain Eagles team jerseys!) and Simon McKenzie and Chris Raymond will be riding and on deck to answer any questions the parents and students may have about the upcoming season.

At 10.30am that morning the Pedal Prix squad of interested students and parents can participate in a Come ‘N’ Try morning with the Pedal Prix cars. It represents an ideal chance to discuss the Pedal Prix program including training, practice days and events. We are always looking to add to our band of dedicated mums and dads who join the management team. Suzy Baldry is assisting in the coordination of Pedal Prix so parents who are able to help out can contact Suzy via email.
