Although it will be a lot of fun, participating in the production requires an enormous commitment from students and their families. Therefore, please read all of the attached information and rehearsal schedule carefully before signing the permission slip and making the commitment. Attendance at rehearsals is compulsory.
Failure to attend three rehearsals will result in a dismissal from the production. Please notify Patrick Penfold in advance if you know you are unable to attend a rehearsal due to an important prior commitment, such as a family occasion. Events marked NN on the rehearsal calendar are non-negotiable. Please ensure that you and your child are familiar with the rehearsal calendar and prepared for each rehearsal.
Rehearsals will begin after school, and will vary. Students will need to listen for Daily Bulletin notices and Canvas announcements during the week for cast, choir or band requirements. The attached rehearsal schedule shows every rehearsal date. Please refer to this at all times.
If your child becomes ill and is unable to attend a rehearsal please contact the Performing Arts Office on 8278 0246, Patrick Penfold at firstname.lastname@example.org or Cinzia Cursaro at email@example.com.
Students will need to arrange their own transport to and from rehearsals and performances. All rehearsals will be held in the John Bray Centre for Performing Arts. Please refer to the rehearsal schedule for location details of each rehearsal.
Once you and your child have decided to make the commitment to the Production, please complete the ‘Commitment to Participate’ form and return it to the Performing Arts Office. This form is required by Friday 29 June (Week 9 Term 2).
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the attached information please contact me on 8278 0246 or by email.
