Dear Families,

Our Year 10 – 12 female students have recently participated in the PPEP session this term, as part of our Wednesday Wellbeing Series program. Our students found this presentation very informative and empowering, in understanding their bodies better, gaining current knowledge about the neuroscience of pain, and the choices that are available to them.

The clinical educator who presented these sessions provided wonderful feedback about how engaged our students were and many of our students had a number of questions that were able to answered in the question time segment after the presentation.

I hope that your daughter has discussed this session with you, and I also encourage our families to attend a free PPEP for families webinar, with leading gynaecologist and author of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain, Dr Susan Evans. This book is also available for students/families to borrow in our TLC.

Yours sincerely,

Carlee Mitchell
Leader of Student Wellbeing
