Sport and other co-curricular activities are an important part of the education offered at St John’s Grammar School. We encourage all students to be involved. Please nominate your preferences for Term 1 as soon as possible.
The School Uniform must be worn by all students. There are summer, winter and PE uniforms, with all stock available from the School’s Uniform Shop. More information and how to schedule a uniform fitting is available on our School Uniform page.
Stationery and Resources
All stationery items and educational resources can be ordered through our preferred supplier, Campion. Please order online by Friday 8 December 2017, using the code WZS5. Orders can be delivered directly to your home or office.
The School Bus travels from both the Junior and Secondary Campuses, and runs along two routes, one through the Southern suburbs to Flagstaff Hill and one through the Adelaide Hills to Stirling and Aldgate. View the full route, prices and how to purchase tickets.
All students in Years 7 and 8 require the Casio FX82AUPLUSII Scientific Calculator ($25), which is available through the Abacus Calculators website using the code STJOH01.
Students in Years 9 – 12 require the Casio FXCG50AU Graphic Calculator ($225), which is available through the Abacus Calculators website using the code STJOH02.
Individual music tuition is available for a variety of instruments, and there are many individual and ensemble opportunities available. View the range of instruments taught and apply for music tuition lessons.
Microsoft Surface Pro
All students in Years 6-12 are required to have their own Microsoft Surface Pro as part of the School’s 1:1 BYOD Program. Find out more about the Microsoft Surface Pro, including which model is right for your child and how to order.
Both students and parents should familiarise themselves with the School’s policies and procedures, including our Bushfire, Social Media and Mobile Phone Policies and the procedures to report a student absence.
The canteen opens before the start of the school day and closes after lunch. Purchases can be made in cash at the canteen, and lunch orders can be placed in advance by creating a St John’s Grammar Flexischools account or calling in to the Canteen and placing an order with staff.
Medical and Personal Information
The safety, well-being and health of your child is vitally important to us. The School requires that student and parent address and contact details are kept current, including an up-to-date medical history of all students.
