Dear families,

Our Year 9 students will be participating in Cancer Council SA’s Relay For Life in Belair National Park (Karka Pavillion) on Saturday 2 November – Sunday 3 November. This is an important part of their Rite Journey experience. Cancer is something that has affected many people within in our community and if you or your family members / friends have been closely affected by cancer, we invite you to join us to participate in the very first lap of the day, dedicated to cancer survivors and carers.

There will be a Survivors and Carers registration at the Registration/Information marquee from midday until 1:45pm and you will be able to collect sashes to identify as Survivors and Carers and register. You will then participate in the first lap and your names will be read out as you walk.

If you would like to take part, please email me at cmitchell@stjohns.sa.edu.au or just join us at the event on Saturday by 1:30pm. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Carlee Mitchell
