St John’s Grammar School Anniversary Assembly

9am, Wednesday 5 September

On Wednesday 5 September, all staff and students from Reception to Year 12 will come together to celebrate both the 60th Anniversary of the St John’s Grammar Junior School and the 20th Anniversary of the St John’s Grammar Secondary Campus.

The whole School community is invited to celebrate this occasion at a special Assembly, to commence at 9am in the Secondary Campus Sports Centre, at 29 Gloucester Avenue, Belair.

To facilitate this event, we ask that Junior Primary Students (Reception – Year 2) are dropped off at the Secondary Campus at 8.45am, and meet their classroom teacher in the courtyard of the John Bray Centre for Performing Arts.

Students in Years 3 – 6 will be able to walk from the Junior Campus, leaving at 8.30am. Please indicate on the consent form (downloadable below) if your child will walk from the Junior Campus, or if you will be dropping them directly to the Secondary Campus at 8.45am.

Those students that catch the bus are able to exit the bus on the Secondary Campus. Please indicate on the consent form if this is the case for your child.

After the Assembly, students will walk back to the Junior School, accompanied by classroom teachers, and the children’s school bags will be transported to the Junior School by our Property Services Team. Please liaise with your child’s classroom teacher if you feel that the return walk may not be possible for your child.

To facilitate the attendance of parents and to assist with the drop-off of Junior School students at the Secondary Campus, parking will be available on the Retreat House lawns, adjacent to the John Bray Centre for Performing Arts.
