From the P&F

Welcome to Term 2! I keep thinking the worst of the busy period is behind us, but when I look again there is more to come!!

Our Second Hand Uniform Shop is up and running, and is located downstairs between the Year 4 and 5 classrooms in the Junior School. The first of our successful openings was on Saturday before Term 2 started, and times for this term are as follows:

Week 4 Saturday May 27 9.30 – 11.30 am
Week 6 Monday June 5 8.15 – 9.30 am
Week 8 Saturday June 24 9.30 – 11.30 am

If you are looking for uniform items, pop along and see the lovely Anne McLinden during these opening times. If you have ‘gently used’ items to sell, there is a link on the website to the Deposit form that you can complete and drop in with the items, and we will add them to our stock. P&F will take 15% of the sale price as commission, and the residual will be deposited into your account at the end of each term. Any queries, email us at

The Junior School Cross Country was on Friday, and we were lucky to have a glorious sunny day in the National Park for the barbecue. Thanks to the year 5 parent reps for coordinating a team of helpers to cook sausages and serve lunch and drinks to our hungry competitors and their support crew. The last in the 2017 P&F barbecue series is the District Cross Country day, to be held on Friday 19th May. This is a great fundraiser for our school as there are around 300 children as well as their families and supporters, so lots of requirements for food and drinks. If you are able to spare an hour or two on this day to help us, we would greatly appreciate it as it is a lot of work on the day. Fingers and toes crossed for good weather!
