To a packed hall of family, friends, staff and students, Father Steve held a moving Eucharist service (you can read his speech here), blessing our graduating Year 12s and their futures. A special Assembly followed, during which a slideshow of memories reflected back on our students’ journeys through the School, before they all left their mark by signing the Graduation Book. To conclude the trilogy of celebrations, students from the Middle and Senior Schools filed in to bring the whole Campus together for a final farewell.
Punctuating the morning were performances from some of our graduating Year 12s, a prayer from Year 6 student, Phoebe, on behalf of the Junior School, farewells to some of our retiring staff members, and poignant speeches from guest speakers including old scholars, Harry Carpenter and Nick Grear, Sam Duluk MP, and departing teacher, Andrew Napier.
Year 12s filed from the Sports Centre for the last time through a walkway of their Year 7 buddies, proud teachers and staff, bidding their final farewells to these people who have played such an important role in their lives for so long.
