Exciting opportunities for Stage 1 Indonesian students!

This semester, the Stage 1 Indonesian class has been one of only three schools in SA who were invited to take part in an exciting new initiative funded by the Cultural Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra, and supported by the Flinders University Indonesian Department.

Through this initiative our students have had the opportunity to be a part of an online learning community that meets through two bi-lingual sites, a Flinders Learning Online site and a private Facebook site. The access to online learning has allowed students to communicate with each other, as well as being able to access Indonesian tutors who answer any questions they may have and help them with grammar and with practising vocabulary.

On Monday 14 November, students from all three schools met each other face to face at Flinders University and participated in a variety of language and cultural activities to support and have fun with their language skills.
