General Meeting NEXT WEEK!
Our next meeting on Tuesday 27 March is a General Meeting and you are very welcome to come along to Retreat House on the Secondary Campus at 7.30pm.
Exciting new Parents' Events for your diary
In May we will be holding two inaugural events just for parents. There wil be a Dads' Beef and Burgundy evening on Friday 11 May and a Mums' Fashion evening on Friday 18 May .
Details such as prices, times and venues for both these events will be advertised in the next few weeks, but please put them in your diary now so you don't miss out. We are hoping for a lot of interest in both evenings as they are something we have not done before!
Golf Day
This wonderful annual event is on Friday 4 May at the picturesque Blackwood Golf Course starting at 8.00am for registrations with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee. Registration forms are available from the school. There is a $10 000 hole-in-one competition sponsored by Leedwell Property, so come along and give it your best shot! Gala Ball
Tables are going fast for this spectacular event so please book in SOON! If you prefer to pay for your ticket/s in instalments, you can obtain a form from here to fill in and return. First instalment payments will begin on 1 April (an auspicious day!). The Ball is at the Hilton and a number of people are staying on afterwards. If you like this idea, there is a link on the flyer for you to contact the hotel and book a room. All in all it is promising to be a great event.
Entertainment Books
These are coming out very soon. Flyers have been sent home and the books will be distributed to interested families early next term. If you have not received the information do please email us so a flyer can be sent to you.
Community Lottery
We were very fortunate to receive this great opportunity again this year. This is partly due to our success last year in the number of tickets we sold and the (very low) number of tickets that were lost. The committee is hoping we can be at least as successful this year. The prizes are fabulous and ALL the money raised through selling the tickets is returned to the Parents and Friends for our schools. It is a wonderful fundraiser for us! Books of tickets will be distributed as soon as possible.
