Intensive English Program

It is expected that students will attend an intensive language program at Woodcroft Intensive School of English (WISE) prior to commencing at St John's Grammar if English is not their first language.  The length of the course subject to the result of an English proficiency assessment such as IELTS, AEAS or other acceptable tests.

Students will wear St John's school uniform and travel by bus daily to and from WISE. Our International Student Co-ordinator and and each student's Head of House will maintain contact with students during the program.

Assessments will be made regularly, and students will commence at St John's Grammar as long as they meet the required standard. This is to ensure that they can cope with the demands of all subjects.
