Year 12 2007 Results
The Year 12 academic results from 2007 were outstanding, reflective of an excellent standard of teaching and a high level of student motivation. These results, building on those from previous years, help to generate confidence for our younger students going forward.
Of the 386 possible grades, students attained 308 As or Bs, which equates to 80% of the total. 50% of all grades were As. 27% of the eligible cohort received a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) of 95 or more and 42% received a TER of 90 or more.
Especially pleasing is the comparative performance of boys and girls in the top scores. Usually girls outperform boys at senior secondary level but at St John’s, of those who achieved a TER of 95 or more, 8 were male and 10 were female. This is another indicator of the excellent standard of teaching and learning provided by our school.
