Arndrae Luks
Board Chairman and Diocesan Representative
Arndrae is a graded Newspaper/Radio Journalist. He has held various senior positions in Government, including Director, Media Liaison, Protocol Office, Department of Premier & Cabinet and Ministerial Press Secretary.
Arndrae’s extensive knowledge and over 35 years’ experience in dealing with the media combined with his marketing and public relations knowledge makes him an important contributor to external School communications.
Felicity England
Board Vice Chair and Member of Finance Committee
Felicity is a Lawyer with over ten years experience in private legal practice, and is currently working in an in house role for a not for profit organisation. Felicity contributes to the governance processes of the board, strategic business decisions and policy development.
Felicity is an old scholar of the school and is keen to see the school continue to strengthen its business, brand and market share while maintaining its unique and distinguishing identity.
John Bray
Board Member, Permanent Governor and Chair of Property & Development Committee
John has been a Board member for over 25 years, has been Chairman and served on various Board Committees and panels. Interestingly, John was the original Sports Convenor. Both his children attended St John’s.
With qualifications in building and architecture, John has been self employed for over 35 years. As well as a busy architectural practice, John manages to find time to perform community service not only to St John’s, but also serves on the Association of Independent Schools’ Board of SA. His knowledge and experience in building development has been invaluable to the School.
Helen Lambert
Board Member
Helen is a teacher with extensive experience in secondary education in South Australia. She has provided educational expertise and leadership across the education sectors in SA, including government and Catholic schools; the Department for Employment, Training and Further Education; the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of SA (now the SACE Board); and the Association of Independent Schools of SA.
She has represented the Independent school sector as national representative providing advice on vocational education, the Australian Curriculum and Financial Literacy to a number of national committees.
Helen has previous Board experience on the Siena College Board and the Kensington Park and Adelaide Colleges of TAFE.
Ian Marker
Board Member and Chair of Finance Committee
Ian has been a member of the Board since 2005, and has had three children at the School.
Since 2003 Ian has been responsible for the South Australian operations of a privately owned property investment and development business. Prior to that he spent 23 years as a consulting engineer, and is a former State President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia. Ian is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and brings strategic planning, management, development and marketing skills to the Board.
Alan Morrison
Board Member and Member of Finance Committee
Alan is the Chief Executive Officer of a large healthcare facility with operations in South Australia and Northern Territory. He is a Chartered Accountant, having previously spent 11 years working for a "Big 4" accounting firm in the UK and Australia, specialising in transaction advisory assignments.
Alan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, State Treasurer for the Australian Private Hospitals Association ("APHA") - SA Branch, member of the APHA Policy & Advocacy Taskforce and a member of the Payneham Road Precinct Committee.
Alan's key skills rest in his strong finance background, strategic thinking and leadership.
Reg Wymond
Board Member, Member of Property & Development Committee and Past Board Chairman
Reg was a director of a large insurance, brokerage and underwriting agency between 1970-1990. From 1991-1997 he was Managing Director of a wine company, until it merged with a similar company that became a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange. Reg adds to the significant business mix on the Board.
Reg was a past chairman of the School’s Parents & Friends Association. He is most interested in the School’s development into a highly respected Reception to Year 12 School.
Andrew Zammit
Board Member and Member of Property & Development Committee
Andrew commenced serving on the Board in 2012 and has four children at St John's Grammar.
Andrew has more than two decades of experience in the property industry in agency, management and development roles and has strengths in sales and leasing, feasibility analysis and development management. His is a founding partner of an Adelaide based commercial property agency and has held senior roles with international agencies, and an ASX listed development group.
Andrew brings management, development and business skills to the Board.
